If there are any concerns about the meals provided or cross-contamination, we strongly encourage campers to pack their own snacks/meals. **Each camp season we make a conscious effort to provide meal options for those who have dietary restrictions (gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, dairy free), please keep in mind that our offerings are limited. If your camper has any dietary restrictions, it is imperative that this be noted at the time of registration. Camp ends at 12:00pm on Friday, no lunch will be provided this day. Lunch is served in the Cadet Field House. Breakfast and Dinner is served in Arnold Hall by outside Vendors we bring in for AF Sports Camps. Three meals a day are provided: (Monday - Thursday) plus Sunday dinner and Friday breakfast. IMPORTANT: Identify luggage with name, sport, address, phone number. The gift shop and various food & drink vendors are available during the day and evenings so money is a plus. However, cell phones are allowed at camps and we encourage campers to have them at all times. Please do not bring TV's, stereos, skateboards or other large bulky items. Sunscreen is a must! It's also a good idea to bring a padlock to secure your valuables in your room. Hockey-pads/skates/helmet/sticks, Lax sticks/pads/helmet, golf clubs, fencing equipment, etc.) and all necessary work-out clothes. Depending on what sport you are in, campers will need to bring their own personal equipment (i.e. Campers are encouraged to bring a fan with them to camps to be used in their dorm room. If you are boarding in the dormitory you will need to provide your own linen (twin bed) or sleeping bag, pillow, blanket, towels, washcloth, soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, and any other necessary toiletries. Also, AF Sports Camps cannot guarantee that every camper will be assigned a roommate. This applies to teams attending individual camps. Additionally, no changes to rooms/roommates will be made on the day of check-in.ĪF Sports Camps cannot guarantee that entire teams or all campers from a single school will be housed on the same floor. Campers will find out who their roommates are upon checking-in to the Dorms on Sunday. Rooming assignments are finalized on or after June 1. If no preference is indicated, a roommate will be assigned. We will do our best to fulfill roommate requests however, we cannot guarantee all requests. Listing a roommate preference does not guarantee enrollment of the roommate into the camp. ROOMMATESĬamp Boarders can request a roommate of their choice at the time of online registration. Lost keys will incur a $20.00 charge for a replacement. AFA Military Police monitor Vandenburg Hall and surrounding areas overnight.īe sure to safeguard your dorm key and camp credential! If you lose your key, go to your counselor or the dorm's information desk immediately. Campers must be in Vandenburg Hall by 10:00pm.
